Finishing Up Audio; Preparation for Social Media Unit
Audio quiz. Check answers on Wednesday morning during class. I will grade the open-ended questions by then.
Instructor-Student check-ins about audio profiles that are due Fri. Nov. 1 by 11:59 p.m.
Keep in mind that many students forget the introductory statement that your source needs to provide. Don’t forget that! We need a name and a relevant title or phrase to introduce the audio story. “My name is _______ and I’m going to talk about _______.”
For Wednesday, we start the Social Media Unit.
Read Ch. 3 on Crowd-Powered Collaboration.
Be prepared to: Explain what crowdsourcing is. Share ideas about how you could use crowd-powered collaborations in your future media job. Discuss the value of open-source reporting.
